Jules Metras - Chiroubles - Vielles Vignes 2017

Jules Métras, son of the well-known Yvon Métras, has started recently to produce wines in Beaujolais, in the Chiroublesand Beaujolais-Villages appellation. From his 2 hectares of vines, his first vintage was released in 2014. The vineyard is certified biodynamic.

This Vieilles Vignes cuvée is a Chiroubles appellation, one of the 10 Crus du Beaujolais. It is made from old Gamay vines grown on a granite plot located at an altitude of 550 meters.

Grape variety: 100% Gamay
