Brana - Gin with Espelette Pepper - 43%
Domaine Brana is located in Ossès, in the Basque Country . In 1974, Etienne Brana and his wife Adrienne created the distillery and planted a William pear orchard. Etienne Brana, self-taught, discovered the art of distillation and built his distillery. Martine and Jean, their children, will take over. Today Martine, distiller, has taken over and developed the ancestral family know-how and continues to innovate with fruits, spices and plants. Fruit brandies and liqueurs are obtained by maceration or distillation in copper pot stills.
Gin Brana is a Gin with Espelette pepper , the only spicy pepper to be produced in France and benefiting from an AOP classification. Once macerated, the ingredients making up the recipe are distilled in small batches in copper stills. At the exit of the still, the Gin obtained is aged in small stainless steel tanks in order to monitor the evolution of the esters and to proceed to bottling at the ideal moment.
