Yamazakura - Peated Blended - 46%

The Asaka Distillery is located in the Fukushima region of Japan . It was founded in 2015 by the company Sasanokawa Shuzo, a specialist in traditional Japanese drinks and in particular sake. The distillery benefits from exceptional local natural resources: the water used for the production of whiskeys comes from Lake Inawashiro, one of the largest lakes in the country located south of Mount Bandai. Yamazakura means “mountain cherry tree”.

Yamazakura Peated Blend is a blend of malt whiskey comprising peated malted barley and grain whiskey, aged in Bourbon barrels.
