Manguin - Oli'Still - Olive brandy from Provence - 40%
The Manguin Distillery is located on the island of Barthelasse in Avignon, in the heart of Provence . In the 1940s, Claude Manguin, a talented agronomist, planted and cultivated several dozen hectares of pear and peach trees and supplied the most famous delicatessens with fruit. In 1957, Charentais stills began to distill fruit, and “La Poire Manguin” would become the house's flagship eau-de-vie. Since 2011, the new owners are Béatrice and Emmanuel Hanquiez . Driven by a passion for the profession, they have perpetuated the know-how of the house for several years. In ten years, they undertake a renovation of the site and the production tool. This new dynamic of innovation without compromising on quality is at the origin of new creations of spirits based on distilled olives .
Oli'Still comes from a slow maceration of varieties of olives grown in Provence, distilled in a pot still.
