Brown - A Coffee Liqueur by Forthave Spirits - 24%
Forthave Spirits is a distillery located in the Brooklyn neighborhood of New York . It produces artisanal botanical spirits such as amaro, digestives, aperitifs and gin. The distillery was founded by two friends: painter Aaron Sing Fox and screenwriter/producer Daniel de la Nuez . They use only plant-based ingredients and have a herbal library including over 200 different types of herbs, roots and bark, leaves and flowers, fruits and seeds. These botanicals macerate in stainless steel tanks, without filtering agent or artificial coloring. The only sweeteners used are raw: organic turbinado sugar or raw honey from upstate New York. Almost all of the ingredients are certified organic and the few that aren't were either grown by small farmers without certification or harvested wild.
Brown is a coffee liqueur made in collaboration with the Café Integral team. It is made with original Pacamará Ambar coffee beans grown by Don Sergio Ortez in Nicaragua and roasted in Brooklyn. The liqueur comes from a combination of cold extraction and maceration of ground grains. It is served pure or in cocktails like the Expresso Martini or the White Russian.
