Giffard - Cold Brew - Honduran Coffee Liqueur - 25%
The Giffard Distillery was founded in 1885 by Émile Giffard , a pharmacist in Angers . At the time, he carried out research on various drinks and developed a mint-based liqueur with refreshing and digestive properties, the famous Menthe-Pastille. Four generations later, the company has remained family-owned, it now employs 87 people and exports its products to more than 10 countries on four continents.
This liqueur is made from a “cold brew” maceration of Honduran coffee . Giffard selected Honduras Lenca coffee, a pure Arabica, organic and fair trade coffee harvested in the mountainous regions of Honduras. This coffee, composed of a blend of several varieties (catuai, caturra, tipica, bourbon) is washed, not dried, then roasted in France.
