SANTA TERESA 1796 - Arabica Coffee Cask Finish - 46%
Hacienda Santa Teresa is located in the mountainous Aragua Valley in Venezuela . Founded in 1796, the estate cultivated coffee, cocoa and sugar cane. In 1830, a young German merchant, Gustav Julius Vollmer , arrived in Venezuela and meets a revolutionary woman named Panchita Rivas. The Vollmer family, their descendants, still run Santa Teresa today.
This special series was matured in barrels previously used to age a cold rum infusion made from Arabica coffee beans grown at Hacienda Santa Teresa.
