Château Reynon - White 2023
Château Reynon is located in the commune of Béguey in the Cadillac-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation in the Bordeaux wine region. The property is part of Domaines Denis Dubourdieu . It was originally purchased by Jacques David in 1958; his daughter Florence and her husband Denis Dubourdieu took over management of the property in 1976. The Château Reynon winery was, at that time, the favorite experimental site of Denis Dubourdieu, then a young researcher at the Faculty of Oenology, specializing in the vinification of dry white wines. The techniques of skin maceration and aging on lees in vats for the Sauvignon and Sémillon grape varieties were first optimized at Reynon, before being widely recommended elsewhere in the world.
Château Reynon Blanc is made from Sauvignon Blanc . The wine is aged for 5 months in wooden and stainless steel vats.
Grape variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
