RHUM HSE - Aged rum - Small Cask - Vintage 2007 - Numbered bottle - 46%
AOC Martinique
The house The Maugée is renamed Saint-Etienne in 1863 and passes from the status of candy to that of distillery following its acquisition by Amedee Aubery in 1882, this young captain of industry then modernizes the buildings and supplies the area with energy thanks to the Lézarde river which crosses the field and still serves today to dilute the cane juice. The Hayot family (Yves and José) bought the property in 1994 after a judicial reorganization of the former owners, renovations were then undertaken in the Martinique housing classified historic monument and the column is transferred to the Simon. The Saint-Etienne brand becomes HSE (for Habitation Saint-Etienne).
This Small Cask of the 2007 vintage is signed HSE. The particularity of these rums comes from their aging which took place in oak barrels of 55 liters called Limousin. This results in a more pronounced influence of the wood compared to a traditional breeding in 200L drum for a rum with particularly rich and complex aromatic density.
All the spirits offered are in stock and also available in our store at 3 rue Lucien Faure in BORDEAUX - Line stop B/7/32 Cité du vin
