Domaine ALBERT MANN - Alsace - Pinot Gris 2018
Domaine Albert Mann is the result of the joint work of two large families of winegrowers. The Manns have been winegrowers since the beginning of the 17th century and the Barthelmé, the current owners, have been since 1654. Today the two brothers, Maurice and Jacky Barthelmé, seconded by their respective wives, Marie-Claire and Marie-Thérèse, manage the family estate.
The will of the estate is to produce wine in harmony with the land and since 2000, the estate's wines have been certified in organic farming by Ecocert. The domain covers 23 hectares, divided into a hundred small islets of culture, worked like a hundred small gardens. They work five Grands Crus, two Lieu-dit and one Clos in monopole in organic and biodynamic culture.
This Pinot Gris Tradition comes from vineyards located near the estate in Wettolsheim and Kientzheim, it offers a beautiful harmony between its dry appearance and its freshness, its purity but also its elegance thanks to its acidity.
