Château Lassolle - Rougé d'Amphore - Sans soufre 2018
Château Lassolle is located in Romestaing in the Côtes du Marmandais appellation in the South-West of France. It belongs to Stéphanie Roussel since 2002, after leaving Normandy and opening a wine bar in Bordeaux. Her vineyard is planted with old vines from 1947 and 1960 with traditional grape varieties from the Marmandais and the South-West: Abouriou, Côt, Fer, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot etc. The vines are cultivated in a natural way, according to the principles of biodynamics but without certification.
Rougé d'Amphore is made from the local Marmandais grape, Abouriou. It is the result of a direct pressing and maceration blend. The wine is matured in terracotta amphorae, with no input.
Grape variety: 100% Abouriou
