Château Lassolle - Le Blanc qui tente 2018
Château Lassolle is located in Romestaing in the Côtes du Marmandais appellation in the South-West of France. It belongs to Stéphanie Roussel since 2002, after leaving Normandy and opening a wine bar in Bordeaux. Her vineyard is planted with old vines from 1947 and 1960 with traditional grape varieties from the Marmandais and the South-West: Abouriou, Côt, Fer, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot etc. The vines are cultivated in a natural way, according to the principles of biodynamics but without certification.
Le Blanc qui Tente is made from old Sémillon vines from a gravel plot. After direct pressing and a light racking, the wine is naturally fermented and then matured in Burgundian demi-muids of 400 litres. It is a blend of several vintages.
Grape variety: 100% Semillon
