Terra Vita Vinum - Schist Bubbles 2021
Terra Vita Vinum is located in Mozé-sur-Louet, in Anjou in the Loire Valley. The estate was taken over by Luc Briand and Bénédicte Petit in 2019. The estate of around 30 hectares is spread over seven plots in the heart of Anjou Noir . The terroir is mainly made up of schist and also different volcanic rocks. The vineyard is certified biodynamic .
Bulles de Schiste is a natural sparkling wine made from a blend of Chardonnay (65%), Cabernet Franc (30%) and Chenin Blanc (5%) grown on the schist terroir of Anjou Noir. It is made according to the ancestral method ; fermentation occurs in the bottle. It contains 6.7 g/L of residual sugars.
